MY STORY

I have always had a sense of mother nature and her powers.  However, it was not until I was healing from my second bout with breast cancer my appreciation for nature really came into focus.

I spent my days on a private organic farm in Bedford Hills, New York, digging deep into the dirt, tending to vegetable beds, spreading compost, listening to hawks fly overhead, seeing blue birds dance between the trees, watching water dribble out of the hose – feeling calm, feeling connected, gaining strength, finding a sense of purpose.  The farm found its way deep into my soul, nurturing me.

Honest Flowers is based upon a simple premise; grow flowers that attract pollinators, provide the community with cut flowers that are organically grown and inspire organic farming.  Most importantly, I want to share the joy flowers bring to me.  One way I do this through a limited local flower share and small farm stand.  With the funds from these purchases, a sister bouquet is dropped off at a local hospital where they are given to a women who is managing breast cancer or to others who need a little pick-me-up.

This is me, Mallory, with Adele.
